I am Abdulkarim Alhossein. I am currently an international doctoral student in Special Education at Kent State University.

I am interested in improving the special education services for students with mild and moderate needs. My research interests focus on identifying students with learning disabilities (response to intervention [RTI]), developing Scientific Research-Based Intervention (SRBI ) for students with ADHD and LD, including students with disabilities in the general education classroom to the maximum extent, and transition of students with disabilities to postsecondary education.

I have a Master's degree in Special Education from University of Northern Colorado at Greeley and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education-Learning Disabilities from King Saud University in Riaydh, Saudi Arabia.
